The Shirat Hayam Center for Early Education is a Reggio inspired educational experience which fosters development of the “whole” child. Our newly renovated classrooms and outdoor space encourage exploration, creativity, and cooperation. We specialize in providing a nurturing environment which allows for flexible schedules and daily enrichment classes.
Weekly enrichment: Music with Mr. Philip, Mindfulness with Leda Elliot, Shabbat with Rabbi Michael and Cantor Sarah, Jewish culture, and values!
The Shirat Hayam Center for Early Education believes that children learn best through play. It is our goal to create a developmentally appropriate environment which fosters an appreciation for enrichment and discovery. It is our belief that nurturing the “whole’ child through hands-on early learning experiences will create a lifelong love for learning. Inclusion, family connections, and a commitment to developmentally appropriate learning are fundamental aspects which enkindle our diverse Shirat Hayam Family.
A note from the CENTER FOR Early Education….
We are so excited to be partnering with SPUR to provide organic produce to those facing food insecurity in our community. Thanks to the helpful hands of our students and teachers we have been planting, weeding, and harvesting throughout the summer. Each Wednesday, we are in need of a parent volunteer to sign up and deliver this produce to the Anchor Pantry in Swampscott. To learn more and to sign up, please click here!
